Michele has been practicing law for over 20 years, having recently joined the Bress Law Firm in April 2009.

She is a member of the Elder Law Committee of the General Practice section of the New York Bar Association.

Michele is a graduate of Albany Law School where she was an Editor of the Albany Law Review. She worked at the top tier New York City law firm, Rogers & Wells as a litigation associate, and then at several investment banks as in house counsel before redirecting her practice in the field of Elder Law. She is currently pursuing a L.L.M. in Elder Law and Estate Planning.

Her current practice is limited to elder law and estate and financial planning. Elder Law essentially involves (1) the protection of the person through the use of advance medical planning tools to preserve a person's right to choose medical and technical methods to prolong life, and (2) the protection of a family’s assets when faced with long term costs for an aide in the home or for care in a nursing facility. A distinct portion of Bress Law Firm's practice is devoted to estate tax planning.
